Can You Pass A Kidney Stone On Your Own?

Would you like to pasture kidney stone at home? You're not alone. Thousands of people are searching every day for natural health advice regarding kidney stone pain and passage of kidney stones. Unfortunately, western doctors do not have much to say about how to flush kidney stones painlessly.

Most patients are told to drink water to pass kidney stones. This may work for a kidney stone that is less than 5mm, but larger stones may require alterations to your diet, vitamins and supplements, or other natural remedies.

Natural remedies for kidney stones have been around for centuries. It has been only in recent decades that natural remedies have been researched. Regarding kidney stones, some natural remedies have proven to work.

Most western medical clinics and doctors have not used holistic or natural health remedies. In many western hospitals, natural health care is still considered taboo. Nonetheless, a natural health movement has been growing rapidly, especially as research uncovers more about natural remedies.

There are four methods of eliminating kidney stones that we will examine. Remember, it is important to discuss your medical condition and treatment decisions with your medical professional.

Consider adding 350 mg of magnesium to your diet each day. Magnesium is known to help eliminate kidney stones. Having been studied for the last forty years, magnesium has proven time and again that it helps the body rid itself of kidney stones.

Avoid snacks and foods that are high in sugar. This includes soft drinks and juices. Sugar has been associated with the formation of kidney stones. Avoid sugars until your kidney stones pass. When you consume something sweet let it be something with natural sugar, like fruit.

Drinking water is good to help eliminate kidney stones, but you should also drink fruit juice and vegetable juice, for example, carrot, grape, and orange juice. Certain fruit and vegetable juices are high in citrates. Citrates reduce the buildup of uric acid and the subsequent formation of calcium salts. Both of these cause the formation of kidney stones.

Lastly, eat foods, such as asparagus, wheat grass, and fresh parsley that are high in chlorophyll. High levels of chlorophyll have been proven to cleanse the kidneys and help eliminate kidney stones.
