Mold Eliminating Your House Easily

By Jack Stem

Do you notice that you have a lot of headaches, or cough a lot at home? Or how about dermatitis, do you or someone in your home suffer from that? These are all symptoms that can be caused by the existence of mold in your home.

Mold needs to have the right circumstances in order to grow. They are the following things, food, temperature, and humidity. To explain better humidity needs to be at least 75% in order for mold to grow. Temperature can be anywhere in between 40 and 100 degrees. While the food sources for mold seem at time limitless.

Those food sources can include food that is raw or uncooked, plant soil, dust, wood, and even paper. But those are nowhere near all the different foods that mold will eat in order to survive. In order to fight that mold you need to be persistent, and yes it will cost you some money.

In order to prevent 75% or greater humidity you need a dehumidifier. Setting it to run, and keep the humidity say around 50% will allow no mold to grow. But you still need to take care of the mold that could already be in place. In fact that mold may have even existed since your home was built.

But there are still mold particles in your home, you can't see them all, that's why it is so dangerous. Buying a purifier for the air that contains a HEPA filter will help remove some of those invisible mold particles. Plus it will help the smell of the house out.

Also make sure that you have a mold remover spray and a mold preventer. These you will use when you see mold growing on a surface. Make sure that you remove it completely with the remover spray. After that apply the preventer.

Getting a filter for your air conditioning system that also prevents mold is a must. This will help to not recirculate any of those older particles that may still be floating around even with the use of that air purifier you've hopefully already bought.

Don't forget the filter that you use in the air conditioner. Buying one that will help to filter out mold as your air is running. These filters might cost a bit more, but the cost far outweighs the benefits you will get.

Some of the symptoms you may notice from mold being in your home are headaches, dermatitis, and coughs. Though they are not serious conditions mold can cause more serious problems like pulmonary homosiderosis and asthma. Getting this mold out of your home quickly is highly recommended, and always keeps a lookout for any new outbreaks of mold in your home. With the tips in this article though you should have a great shot at a mold free home.
