Natural Ways To Treat Cancer

By Ben Lee

Cancer occurs when malignant cells multiply out of control in the body. There are over a hundred different types of cancer, including colon cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and lymphoma. Different types of cancer present with different symptoms and will require different treatments. Conventional cancer treatments include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Cancer can be said to be a disease of otherwise healthy body cells. Within the body, we are always replenishing old and warn out cells to make way for new cells - this process can be seen most clearly after an injury, as the body rally's to heal itself. This process is regulated by certain genes, and it is thought by the existing medical model that all cancer occurs by unregulated changes occur to these genes. When this happens, cells begin to behave abnormally, and will quite often develop into a lump. Most of the time, these lumps are benign (non cancerous). Benign lumps are localized and don't spread to other parts of the body.

When a lump (or tumor) is malignant it contains cells that are cancerous. Initially, the tumorous growth stays within a narrow area around its point of origin. However, if malignant cells are not dealt with they will often spread into nearby tissues and from there throughout the body. Once they reach a new site, out of control cells may begin to proliferate and create yet another tumor. This secondary tumor is known as a metastasis or secondary cancer. In order to develop, the cancerous tumors actually create their own blood supplies through the generation of new blood vessels.

These days, cancer is usually easily diagnosed, but the medical profession is less able to explain its causes. If you ask the question, you are likely to go unanswered. However, more and more people are beginning to believe that cancers are actually caused by parasites. Yet, it may surprise you to know that this is not an entirely new viewpoint. Quite a few prominent doctors have suggested this possibility during the past eighty years.

In "The Cure for All Cancers," Hulda Clarke writes that parasitic infections can be linked to the onset of a number of different cancers. This view is not unique. Dr Royal Rife studied this connection in the 1930s and found at least forty different viruses in cancerous tissue.

A fair amount of research was undertaken in the 1970s to determine the link between viral contaminants and cancer. Unfortunately, their equipment wasn't up to the task and research lapsed. Fortunately, there has been renewed interest in conducting research into this subject and now the equipment exists to do it.

Recently, the bacterium Heliobactor Pylori was discovered to be responsible for stomach ulcers. Since 2001, this bacterium is believed by many to be the cause of stomach cancer. Even more recently, the Humanpapilloma Virus (HPV) has been identified as the cause of cervical cancer. Finally, the Cancer Watch Organization has linked microbe infections in the colon with colon cancer.

It might surprise you to know that viruses, microbes and bacteria are simply parasites with different names. This is worth remembering when considering the U.K.'s Cancer Research Organization's assessment that approximately fifteen percent of all cancers may actually be caused by infections of various types. However, there are many professionals who actually think this estimate is too low. Nevertheless, it is good news that the mainstream medical community is becoming open to the possibility.

Yeast infections can also indirectly cause cancer. Yeast infections, or Candida, can travel throughout the body creating a systemic problem and stressing the immune system. As the immune system becomes increasingly compromised, it is unable to halt the spread of the fungus spores which excrete toxic waste in the body as well as raising acidity levels. This combination provides an excellent environment for the development of cancer.

There's more, but let's look at chlorine dioxide, a special compound that has been found to be an effective treatment of a range of bacterial infections, fungi, diseased tissue and viruses. It ignores healthy tissue and good stomach bacteria and only attacks pathogens with a ph less than 7.

Now it's up to you. There's a lot to learn and this brief article cannot cover everything you need to learn. Take the time to research chlorine dioxide further, particularly if you have health problems to address. Your life could be at stake!

To good health.
