Is Vertigo a Side Effect of Medicine?

By Christian Goodman

Everything around me was moving even the floor. But I'm the one who was experiencing it and ended up on the floor being sick on my stomach, while trying to make things still.

A client of mine told me that she was not familiar with vertigo and had not experience it even about 6 months earlier. But now it happens most of the time.

She was diagnosed with vertigo. Vertigo is roughly described as a feeling in which the person or objects are in motion. In simple terms it creates a feeling similar to dizziness.

Inner ear disorders are the reason for vertigo. It's generally not a disease but a symptom.

BPPV or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is one rather common type of peripheral disorder. Dizziness, stomach sickness, vomiting, profuse sweating and impaired hearing are some of the symptoms. It also trends to grow in fast pace.

Mnires syndrome while not as common is another peripheral disorder. Some of the same symptoms are present, but Meniere's often starts with a "full" feeling in the ears leading to deafness or near deafness.

It will take number of hours for the person to gain relief. over the course of days or hours these symptoms will increase or decrease.

The treatments pursued by my clients only produced negative side effects. It did not provide any cure for the Vertigo.

She again expressed her problems with vertigo during another doctor's appointment while the nurse was checking blood pressure. The nurse explained other patients complaining of the same who took the same hypertension medication that my client took.

That was almost unbelievable. The same doctor who has treated her for vertigo has prescribed her the same drug that carries the side effect.

various antibiotics and anticonvulsants also do cause temporary or permanent dizziness or vertigo. Other drugs that treat high blood pressure might cause short term and long term vertigo

while it is tempting to blame the doctor for prescribing the drug with side effects but remember the traditional and most common treatment for problems such as hypertension is medication

Client decided to treat both conditions with alternate methods to nullify additional negative side effects. She also completely eliminated her vertigo through the all natural Dizziness and Vertigo Program. My High Blood Pressure Program successfully lowered her blood pressure to healthy levels. Both of these programs can help you too.
