6 Ways To Cure Hemorrhoids

By James Briggs

Hemorrhoids are caused by veins in the rectum and anus. The veins undergo swelling as well as inflammation. They itch and can bring a lot of pain. This can make you irritated and basically feel discomfort.

There are several methods to healing hemorrhoids when they get swollen. They will take some time and patience; they will not work instantly. However, they do provide symptom alleviation and a bit of instant relief. You might have to experiment to see which one is the best for you.

1) Exercise - A critical step to eliminating hemorrhoids is to exercise. Simply walking 30 minutes, a few days out of the week, can help cure your hemorrhoids quickly. This occurs because your blood circulates better when you perform exercise. Poor blood circulation in the veins causes hemorrhoids.

2) Fiber - Incorporate more fiber into your diet. There is a lot of fiber in whole grain foods and vegetables. Fiber works to soften and add bulk to your stool. The hemorrhoids will be cured much faster.

3) Liquids - Drink a lot of water. Your stool will be loose with the use of water. This will assist with avoiding constipation. Hardened stools are the factor that leads to hemorrhoid attacks.

4) Steer clear of particular foods - Attending carefully to what you eat helps the condition of hemorrhoids. First of all, hemorrhoids can be caused by weighing too much. In addition, beer and water will aggravate your hemorrhoids, as will certain other kinds of drinks. Foods with a lot of spice are also bad.

5) Hemorrhoid Ointment - There are a few ointments sold in the store as a cure for hemorrhoids. After each bowel movement, these ointments need to be applied. Occasionally you have to apply it several times during the day. They serve to alleviate symptoms while causing shrinkage of inflamed hemorrhoids.

6) Sitz Bath - Sitting in a tub with 3-4 inches of tepid water is also beneficial. It is best to sit in the tub and pull your knees up toward your body. Warm water facilitates an elevation of blood circulating to the inflamed region. Swelling will be reduced.

7) Icepacks - Position a sack of ice in the region of your posterior, and do this at least twice daily. Let the icepack stay on for 15 to 20 minutes. Doing this helps to reduce the size of the hemorrhoids. Pain relief will also be provided.

Hemorrhoids hurt and itch as well as causing embarrassment. There is always someone available to consult when you fall ill. But it's embarrassing to seek assistance when you have hemorrhoids. But what is necessary for you to know is that three-fourths of all people in the United States have experienced hemorrhoids. So there isn't any reason to be ashamed. Request assistance from someone. Most likely they have experienced the same thing. You can impart some cures that have been successful in your case.

The treatments on this list are effective ones. These have been proven to provide much-needed relief. But what is good for one thing, isn't always good for something else. Therefore, several trials might be needed to discover what is most effective for you.
